A-Level Physics Mastery exists to help capable Year 12 and Year 13 students turn confusion, inconsistency, and exam panic into structured A/A preparation.*
Students work with us because school explanations often lack depth, textbooks do not prepare them for difficult exam-style questions, and many tutors fail to give them a clear structure, support system, or weekly plan.

When students join A-Level Physics Mastery, we do not just “go through topics.”
We implement our 3-step system designed to take students from inconsistent D/C/B performance towards confident A/A* exam performance.
Most students do not struggle with Physics because they are bad at Maths.
They struggle because they have never been properly taught how to think through Physics problems.
They know the equations.
They understand parts of the lesson.
But when an unfamiliar exam question appears, they do not know:
• what the question is really testing
• which equation to use
• how to set up the maths
• what diagram or model to draw
• how to link ideas from different topics
• how to write the explanation in the way the mark scheme wants
That is exactly what the Simple Physics System is designed to fix.
Step 1: Master The Fundamentals Of Physics
First, students need to understand what is actually happening in each topic.
Not just memorise equations.
Not just copy worked examples.
Not just highlight notes and hope it makes sense later.
In Physics, every equation comes from a physical idea.
Students need to understand:
• why the equation works
• when it applies
• when it does not apply
• what each variable really means
• what assumptions are being made
• how the concept connects to graphs, diagrams, forces, fields, circuits, waves, or particles
This is especially important in topics like electricity, waves, mechanics, and fields, where students often memorise formulas without understanding the process underneath.
Inside the programme, we teach these fundamentals through clear explanations, interactive questioning, guided problem-solving, and constant checking for understanding.
Students are not allowed to sit passively and pretend they understand.
They are questioned.
They are challenged.
They are trained to explain the Physics back.
Because once a student truly understands the physical process, the maths becomes much easier to set up.
Step 2: Tackle Mixed Exam Problems For Cumulative Learning
A-Level Physics exams rarely test topics in a neat, obvious way.
The exam will not always say:
“Use this equation.”
Instead, students are given unfamiliar situations where multiple ideas can be mixed together.
A mechanics question might involve forces, energy, momentum, graphs, and uncertainty.
An electricity question might involve circuits, power, internal resistance, gradients, and proportional reasoning.
A fields question might involve motion, potential, energy, force, and direction.
This is where many students fall apart.
They understand individual topics in isolation, but they cannot recognise what to do when exam questions combine ideas.
That is why mixed exam practice is built directly into our system.
As students master each topic, we train them to:
• identify the hidden topic inside the question
• choose the correct equation instead of guessing
• link concepts across different areas of Physics
• set up the calculation before rushing into the maths
• spot common traps in wording, units, graphs, and diagrams
• approach unfamiliar questions calmly and methodically
This is how students move from “I understand the content” to “I can actually score marks in the exam.”
Step 3: Examination Mode & Weak Link Identification
Once the foundations are secure and students have practised mixed problems, they need to enter exam mode.
This means working under realistic exam conditions, identifying weak links, and fixing them before they become costly in the real paper.
In this stage, students are trained to improve:
• timing
• accuracy
• equation selection
• practical question technique
• multiple choice strategy
• written explanations
• graph and data analysis
• mark-scheme precision
• confidence with unfamiliar questions
This is where students discover the gaps they did not know they had.
Maybe they understand the topic but lose marks on wording.
Maybe they can do the maths but choose the wrong equation.
Maybe they know the equation but cannot interpret the graph.
Maybe they can answer standard textbook questions but panic when the exam board asks the same idea in a new way.
Our system identifies these weak links early, then gives students the practice, feedback, and support needed to fix them.
That is how students become more consistent.
Not by doing random revision.
Not by watching endless videos.
But by following a structured process that exposes weaknesses and turns them into strengths.

We ask our students to unmute their mics and tell us the answer. We get them to send images of their work during lessons for real time assessment of learning.
Every lesson has a clear purpose. To help students get through the syllabus, with a strong level of understanding & a heavy exam focus. The explanations are seriously top-notch.
WEEKLY LIVE EXAM CLASSes
We summarise the content covered at the end of the week, with more tough exam questions. This is called our Exam Question Classes.
In these classes we cover difficult questions from the new spec, old spec and our own questions written by Martina from her experience after obtaining 2 degrees in Physics
This helps students be prepared for the difficult exam questions that are rushed in school and omitted from textbooks.
ACCESS TO LESSON REPLAYS UNTIL EXAMS
With most 1:1 tutors, tuition centres & of course school... Lesson's can't be re-watched. Studies show that students only retain around 10-15% of information from a lesson in school.
This is frustrating on very difficult topics. Rather than scrambling through your notes trying to piece together a topic that you forgot... You can re-watch all our lessons until you finish your A-Levels.
